I'm a Weekend Writer Warrior.  I work all week long as an elementary teacher and then write like a fiend on weekends and holidays.  I love to read, study the stars, and imagine impossible things made possible.  At seventeen I wrote my first short story and several poems in highschool.  I naively sent my short story to a publisher and I still have that very first rejection letter.

After working for ten years, I returned to school and re-discovered my passion for writing.  I still liked to write poetry, but found that I had more to say and began writing on a bigger scale.  I finished my five years of university with a degree, numerous poems and short stories, and the first draft of my novel.
